Excessive Barking, Barking, Barking...
How Can You Stop The Noise?
Heredity gave dogs voices but there are procedures to correct most of the sounds that come from canine pets. Dogs in Cook County that bark at the noise of the house's doorbell or a knock on the door need to be taught a greeting ritual. It is their job to bark when a stranger comes to your Cook County door but you should train them that an "okay" from you means you have the situation under control and your protector can stop growling.
Another complaint we hear from pet owners is the barking at objects such as a broom or rakes. These are all items a pet can learn to live with quietly. Watching out the window and barking at your Cook County neighbors and their dogs should not be tolerated bad dog behavior either. This "distance" barking can be corrected through training sometimes needing a mild shock collar so you can correct your pet from inside the house. This unacceptable dog behavior can be corrected in a short period of time.
Most importantly, you must remember that a dog's hearing is over 200x better than your hearing. He can hear your car coming from over a block away. He will respond with his voice. You just need to learn how to teach your pet when it's time to be quiet when they hear the correct signal.
