How Can You Stop The Noise?

Heredity gave dogs voices but there are ways to control most of the sounds that come from canine pets.  Dogs in Des Plaines that bark at the sound of the family's doorbell or a knock on the door need to be taught a greeting ritual.  It is their job to bark when a stranger comes to your Des Plaines house but you should teach them that an OK command from you means you have the situation under control and your protector can stop making noise.

Another complaint we hear from pet owners is the whining at objects such as a shovel or tractors. These are all things a pet can learn to live with quietly. Most importantly, you must remember that a dog's hearing is over 200x better than your hearing.  He can hear your car coming from over a block away.  He will respond with his voice.  You just need to learn how to teach your pet when it's time to be quiet when they hear the correct signal.
