How Can You Stop The Noise?

Heredity gave dogs voices but there are procedures to correct most of the sounds that come from your pet.  Dogs in Blue Island that bark at the sound of the family's doorbell or a knock on the door need to be taught a greeting ritual.  It is their job to bark when a stranger comes to your Blue Island house but you should teach them that an "okay" from you means you have the situation under control and your dog guardian can stop growling.

Another concern we hear from pet owners is the whining at objects such as a shovel or wheelchairs. These are all things a dog can learn to live with quietly. Running fence lines and barking at your Blue Island neighbors and their dogs is not acceptable bad dog behavior either.  This "distance" barking can be corrected through training sometimes needing a mild shock collar so you can correct your canine from inside the from a distance.  This unacceptable dog behavior can be corrected in a short period of time.

It's important for you to remember that a dog's hearing is over 200x better than your hearing.  He can hear a squirrel running up a tree.  He will respond with his voice.  You just need to learn how to teach your dog when it's time to be quiet when they hear the proper command.
