How Can You Stop The Noise?

Heredity gave dogs voices but there are steps to correct most of the sounds that come from dogs.  Dogs in Calumet Park that bark at the noise of the house's doorbell or a knock on the door need to be taught a greeting ritual.  It is their job to bark when a stranger comes to your Calumet Park house but you should train them that an "okay" from you means everything is fine and your protector can stop growling.

Another concern we hear from pet owners is the whining at objects such as a shovel or rakes. These are all things a canine can learn to live with quietly. Running the property lines and barking at your Calumet Park neighbors and their dogs is not acceptable inappropriate dog behavior either.  This "distance" barking can be corrected through training sometimes needing a mild zap collar so you can correct your dog from inside the home.  It really doesn't take long for them to learn.

It's important for you to remember that a dog's hearing is over two hundred times better than your hearing.  He can hear the sound of a child riding a tricycle several houses away.  He will respond with his voice.  You just need to learn how to teach your dog when it's time to be quiet when they hear the proper command.
