How Can You Stop The Noise?

Heredity gave dogs voices but there are ways to correct most of the sounds that come from canine pets.  Dogs in Westchester that bark at the noise of the house's doorbell or a knock on the door need to be taught a greeting ritual.  It is their job to bark when a stranger comes to your Westchester house but you should teach them that an "okay" from you means everything is fine and your dog guardian can stop making noise.

Another concern we hear from pet owners is the whining at objects such as a broom or tractors. These are all things a pet can learn to live with quietly. Running the property lines and barking at your Westchester neighbors and their dogs should not be tolerated inappropriate dog behavior either.  This "distance" barking can be corrected through training sometimes needing a mild shock collar so you can correct your pet from inside the home.  It really doesn't take long for them to learn.

Most importantly, you must remember that a dog's hearing is over two hundred times better than your hearing.  He can hear your car coming from over a block away.  He will respond with his voice.  You just need to learn how to teach your pet when it's time to be quiet when they hear the correct signal.
