How Can You Stop The Noise?

Heredity gave dogs voices but there are procedures to control most of the sounds that come from man's best friend.  Dogs in Burnham that bark at the noise of the house's doorbell or a knock on the door need to be taught your preferred doggy behavior.  It is their job to bark when a stranger comes to your Burnham house but you should train them that an "okay" from you means you have the situation under control and your protector can stop growling.

Another complaint we hear from pet owners is the whining at objects such as a broom or wheelchairs. These are all items a pet can learn to live with quietly. Running the property lines and barking at your Burnham neighbors and their dogs is not acceptable bad dog behavior either.  This "distance" barking can be corrected through training sometimes needing a mild zap collar so you can correct your canine from inside the house.  This unacceptable dog behavior can be corrected in a short period of time.

It's important for you to remember that a dog's hearing is over 200x better than your hearing.  He can hear your car coming from over a block away.  He will respond with his voice.  You just need to learn how to teach your canine when it's time to be quiet when they hear the proper command.
