How Can You Stop The Noise?

Heredity gave dogs voices but there are procedures to correct most of the sounds that come from your pet.  Dogs in Chicago Heights that bark at the noise of the family's doorbell or a knock on the door need to be taught a greeting ritual.  It is their job to bark when a stranger comes to your Chicago Heights house but you should teach them that an "okay" from you means you have the situation under control and your dog guardian can stop growling.

Another complaint we hear from pet owners is the barking at objects such as a broom or wheelchairs. These are all things a dog can learn to live with quietly. Running the property lines and barking at your Chicago Heights neighbors and their dogs is not acceptable inappropriate dog behavior either.  This "distance" barking can be corrected through training sometimes needing a mild zap collar so you can correct your dog from inside the home.  It really doesn't take long for them to learn.

Most importantly, you must remember that a dog's hearing is over 200x better than your hearing.  He can hear a squirrel running up a tree.  He will respond with his voice.  You just need to learn how to teach your pet when it's time to be quiet when they hear the correct signal.
