How Can You Stop The Noise?

Heredity gave dogs voices but there are ways to control most of the sounds that come from man's best friend.  Dogs in University Park that bark at the sound of the house's doorbell or a knock on the door need to be taught your preferred doggy behavior.  It is their job to bark when a stranger comes to your University Park house but you should teach them that an OK command from you means everything is fine and your dog guardian can stop growling.

Another complaint we hear from dog owners is the whining at objects such as vacuum cleaners or walkers. These are all items a dog can learn to live with quietly. Running the property lines and barking at your University Park neighbors and their dogs is not acceptable bad dog behavior either.  This "distance" barking can be corrected through training sometimes needing a mild shock collar so you can correct your dog from inside the home.  This unacceptable dog behavior can be corrected in a short period of time.

Most importantly, you must remember that a dog's hearing is over 200 times better than your hearing.  He can hear the sound of a child riding a tricycle several houses away.  He will respond with his voice.  You just need to learn how to teach your dog when it's time to be quiet when they hear the proper command.
