How Can You Stop The Noise?

Heredity gave dogs voices but there are ways to control most of the sounds that come from your pet.  Dogs in South Barrington that bark at the noise of the house's doorbell or a knock on the door need to be taught a greeting ritual.  It is their job to bark when an unknown person comes to your South Barrington house but you should train them that an "okay" from you means you have the situation under control and your dog guardian can stop making noise.

Another complaint we hear from pet owners is the whining at objects such as vacuum cleaners or rakes. These are all items a pet can learn to live with quietly. Running the property lines and barking at your South Barrington neighbors and their dogs should not be tolerated inappropriate dog behavior either.  This "distance" barking can be corrected through training sometimes needing a mild shock collar so you can correct your dog from inside the house.  This unacceptable dog behavior can be corrected in a short period of time.

It's important for you to remember that a dog's hearing is over 200 times better than your hearing.  He can hear your car coming from over a block away.  He will respond with his voice.  You just need to learn how to teach your pet when it's time to be quiet when they hear the proper command.
