How Can You Stop The Noise?

Heredity gave dogs voices but there are ways to control most of the sounds that come from man's best friend.  Dogs in River Grove that bark at the noise of the family's doorbell or a knock on the door need to be taught your preferred doggy behavior.  It is their job to bark when a stranger comes to your River Grove house but you should train them that an "okay" from you means you have the situation under control and your protector can stop making noise.

Another complaint we hear from pet owners is the whining at objects such as a broom or tractors. These are all things a canine can learn to live with quietly. Running fence lines and barking at your River Grove neighbors and their dogs is not acceptable bad dog behavior either.  This "distance" barking can be corrected through training sometimes needing a mild zap collar so you can correct your pet from inside the house.  This unacceptable dog behavior can be corrected in a short period of time.

Most importantly, you must remember that a dog's hearing is over 200x better than your hearing.  He can hear your car coming from over a block away.  He will respond with his voice.  You just need to learn how to teach your canine when it's time to be quiet when they hear the correct signal.
