Heredity gave dogs voices but there are steps to control most of the sounds that come from canine pets. Dogs in La Grange Park that bark at the noise of the house's doorbell or a knock on the door need to be taught a greeting ritual. It is their job to bark when a stranger comes to your La Grange Park door but you should train them that an OK command from you means you have the situation under control and your protector can stop barking.
Another complaint we hear from pet owners is the barking at objects such as vacuum cleaners or rakes. These are all things a dog can learn to live with quietly. Watching out the window and barking at your La Grange Park neighbors and their dogs is not acceptable bad dog behavior either. This "distance" barking can be corrected through training sometimes needing a mild shock collar so you can correct your dog from inside the home. It really doesn't take long for them to learn.
It's important for you to remember that a dog's hearing is over two hundred times better than your hearing. He can hear a squirrel running up a tree. He will respond with his voice. You just need to learn how to teach your pet when it's time to be quiet when they hear the proper command.
