How Can You Stop The Noise?

Heredity gave dogs voices but there are procedures to correct most of the sounds that come from your pet.  Dogs in Fernway that bark at the sound of the house's doorbell or a knock on the door need to be taught a greeting ritual.  It is their job to bark when a stranger comes to your Fernway door but you should train them that an "okay" from you means everything is fine and your protector can stop growling.

Another concern we hear from pet owners is the whining at objects such as a broom or rakes. These are all items a dog can learn to live with quietly. Running the property lines and barking at your Fernway neighbors and their dogs is not acceptable inappropriate dog behavior either.  This "distance" barking can be corrected through training sometimes needing a mild shock collar so you can correct your canine from inside the house.  It really doesn't take long for them to learn.

Most importantly, you must remember that a dog's hearing is over 200 times better than your hearing.  He can hear a squirrel running up a tree.  He will respond with his voice.  You just need to learn how to teach your dog when it's time to be quiet when they hear the correct signal.
