Heredity gave dogs voices but there are procedures to control most of the sounds that come from canine pets. Dogs in Englewood that bark at the sound of the house's doorbell or a knock on the door need to be taught a greeting ritual. It is their job to bark when a stranger comes to your Englewood house but you should train them that an "okay" from you means you have the situation under control and your dog guardian can stop making noise.
Another complaint we hear from pet owners is the barking at objects such as a broom or walkers. These are all items a pet can learn to live with quietly. Running the property lines and barking at your Englewood neighbors and their dogs is not acceptable inappropriate dog behavior either. This "distance" barking can be corrected through training sometimes needing a mild shock collar so you can correct your dog from inside the from a distance. This unacceptable dog behavior can be corrected in a short period of time.
Most importantly, you must remember that a dog's hearing is over 200x better than your hearing. He can hear your car coming from over a block away. He will respond with his voice. You just need to learn how to teach your pet when it's time to be quiet when they hear the proper command.
