How Can You Stop The Noise?

Heredity gave dogs voices but there are steps to control most of the sounds that come from canine pets.  Dogs in Blue Island that bark at the noise of the family's doorbell or a knock on the door need to be taught a greeting ritual.  It is their job to bark when an unknown person comes to your Blue Island door but you should teach them that an OK command from you means everything is fine and your protector can stop barking.

Another concern we hear from pet owners is the whining at objects such as vacuum cleaners or rakes. These are all items a dog can learn to live with quietly. Running the property lines and barking at your Blue Island neighbors and their dogs should not be tolerated inappropriate dog behavior either.  This "distance" barking can be corrected through training sometimes needing a mild zap collar so you can correct your canine from inside the from a distance.  This unacceptable dog behavior can be corrected in a short period of time.

Most importantly, you must remember that a dog's hearing is over two hundred times better than your hearing.  He can hear the sound of a child riding a tricycle several houses away.  He will respond with his voice.  You just need to learn how to teach your canine when it's time to be quiet when they hear the correct signal.
