How Can You Stop The Noise?

Heredity gave dogs voices but there are ways to correct most of the sounds that come from man's best friend.  Dogs in Blue Island that bark at the sound of the family's doorbell or a knock on the door need to be taught your preferred doggy behavior.  It is their job to bark when a stranger comes to your Blue Island house but you should train them that an OK command from you means you have the situation under control and your dog guardian can stop barking.

Another complaint we hear from dog owners is the whining at objects such as a shovel or wheelchairs. These are all items a dog can learn to live with quietly. Running fence lines and barking at your Blue Island neighbors and their dogs is not acceptable inappropriate dog behavior either.  This "distance" barking can be corrected through training sometimes needing a mild zap collar so you can correct your canine from inside the house.  This unacceptable dog behavior can be corrected in a short period of time.

Most importantly, you must remember that a dog's hearing is over 200 times better than your hearing.  He can hear your car coming from over a block away.  He will respond with his voice.  You just need to learn how to teach your dog when it's time to be quiet when they hear the correct signal.
