How Can You Stop The Noise?

Heredity gave dogs voices but there are steps to correct most of the sounds that come from dogs.  Dogs in Summit Corners that bark at the noise of the house's doorbell or a knock on the door need to be taught a greeting ritual.  It is their job to bark when an unknown person comes to your Summit Corners door but you should teach them that an OK command from you means you have the situation under control and your dog guardian can stop growling.

Another complaint we hear from pet owners is the whining at objects such as a broom or tractors. These are all things a dog can learn to live with quietly. Watching out the window and barking at your Summit Corners neighbors and their dogs should not be tolerated inappropriate dog behavior either.  This "distance" barking can be corrected through training sometimes needing a mild shock collar so you can correct your pet from inside the home.  This unacceptable dog behavior can be corrected in a short period of time.

It's important for you to remember that a dog's hearing is over two hundred times better than your hearing.  He can hear your car coming from over a block away.  He will respond with his voice.  You just need to learn how to teach your pet when it's time to be quiet when they hear the correct signal.
