Heredity gave dogs voices but there are steps to control most of the sounds that come from man's best friend. Dogs in Monches that bark at the noise of the house's doorbell or a knock on the door need to be taught a greeting ritual. It is their job to bark when a stranger comes to your Monches door but you should teach them that an "okay" from you means you have the situation under control and your dog guardian can stop growling.
Another concern we hear from pet owners is the whining at objects such as a shovel or rakes. These are all things a canine can learn to live with quietly. Running fence lines and barking at your Monches neighbors and their dogs should not be tolerated bad dog behavior either. This "distance" barking can be corrected through training sometimes needing a mild zap collar so you can correct your canine from inside the home. This unacceptable dog behavior can be corrected in a short period of time.
It's important for you to remember that a dog's hearing is over two hundred times better than your hearing. He can hear a squirrel running up a tree. He will respond with his voice. You just need to learn how to teach your dog when it's time to be quiet when they hear the correct signal.
If your dog's behavior problem is an issue you would like to correct, please give Frank Allison, dog obedience trainer a call or click to set up an appointment. Frank would be happy to schedule a private session in your Monches house.
