How Can You Stop The Noise?

Heredity gave dogs voices but there are ways to control most of the sounds that come from your pet.  Dogs in Springfield that bark at the noise of the house's doorbell or a knock on the door need to be taught your preferred doggy behavior.  It is their job to bark when a stranger comes to your Springfield door but you should teach them that an "okay" from you means you have the situation under control and your protector can stop barking.

Another concern we hear from dog owners is the whining at objects such as vacuum cleaners or rakes. These are all things a dog can learn to live with quietly. Running the property lines and barking at your Springfield neighbors and their dogs is not acceptable bad dog behavior either.  This "distance" barking can be corrected through training sometimes needing a mild zap collar so you can correct your pet from inside the home.  This unacceptable dog behavior can be corrected in a short period of time.

It's important for you to remember that a dog's hearing is over two hundred times better than your hearing.  He can hear the sound of a child riding a tricycle several houses away.  He will respond with his voice.  You just need to learn how to teach your pet when it's time to be quiet when they hear the proper command.
