How Can You Stop The Noise?

Heredity gave dogs voices but there are procedures to correct most of the sounds that come from your pet.  Dogs in Lake Geneva that bark at the sound of the house's doorbell or a knock on the door need to be taught a greeting ritual.  It is their job to bark when an unknown person comes to your Lake Geneva door but you should train them that an "okay" from you means everything is fine and your dog guardian can stop making noise.

Another concern we hear from dog owners is the barking at objects such as a shovel or walkers. These are all things a pet can learn to live with quietly. Running the property lines and barking at your Lake Geneva neighbors and their dogs should not be tolerated inappropriate dog behavior either.  This "distance" barking can be corrected through training sometimes needing a mild shock collar so you can correct your pet from inside the home.  This unacceptable dog behavior can be corrected in a short period of time.

Most importantly, you must remember that a dog's hearing is over two hundred times better than your hearing.  He can hear a squirrel running up a tree.  He will respond with his voice.  You just need to learn how to teach your dog when it's time to be quiet when they hear the correct signal.
