How Can You Stop The Noise?

Heredity gave dogs voices but there are ways to correct most of the sounds that come from man's best friend.  Dogs in Crestview that bark at the noise of the family's doorbell or a knock on the door need to be taught a greeting ritual.  It is their job to bark when a stranger comes to your Crestview door but you should train them that an OK command from you means you have the situation under control and your dog guardian can stop barking.

Another complaint we hear from pet owners is the whining at objects such as a shovel or tractors. These are all things a dog can learn to live with quietly. Running the property lines and barking at your Crestview neighbors and their dogs should not be tolerated inappropriate dog behavior either.  This "distance" barking can be corrected through training sometimes needing a mild zap collar so you can correct your canine from inside the home.  This unacceptable dog behavior can be corrected in a short period of time.

It's important for you to remember that a dog's hearing is over two hundred times better than your hearing.  He can hear a squirrel running up a tree.  He will respond with his voice.  You just need to learn how to teach your canine when it's time to be quiet when they hear the correct signal.
