How Can You Stop The Noise?

Heredity gave dogs voices but there are procedures to control most of the sounds that come from your pet.  Dogs in North Bay that bark at the sound of the house's doorbell or a knock on the door need to be taught a greeting ritual.  It is their job to bark when an unknown person comes to your North Bay door but you should teach them that an OK command from you means you have the situation under control and your dog guardian can stop barking.

Another complaint we hear from dog owners is the barking at objects such as a broom or walkers. These are all things a canine can learn to live with quietly. Watching out the window and barking at your North Bay neighbors and their dogs should not be tolerated bad dog behavior either.  This "distance" barking can be corrected through training sometimes needing a mild zap collar so you can correct your pet from inside the house.  This unacceptable dog behavior can be corrected in a short period of time.

It's important for you to remember that a dog's hearing is over two hundred times better than your hearing.  He can hear the sound of a child riding a tricycle several houses away.  He will respond with his voice.  You just need to learn how to teach your pet when it's time to be quiet when they hear the proper command.
