Heredity gave dogs voices but there are steps to correct most of the sounds that come from man's best friend. Dogs in Ives Grove that bark at the noise of the family's doorbell or a knock on the door need to be taught your preferred doggy behavior. It is their job to bark when a stranger comes to your Ives Grove house but you should teach them that an OK command from you means everything is fine and your protector can stop making noise.
Another concern we hear from pet owners is the barking at objects such as vacuum cleaners or rakes. These are all items a pet can learn to live with quietly. Running fence lines and barking at your Ives Grove neighbors and their dogs should not be tolerated inappropriate dog behavior either. This "distance" barking can be corrected through training sometimes needing a mild shock collar so you can correct your pet from inside the from a distance. This unacceptable dog behavior can be corrected in a short period of time.
Most importantly, you must remember that a dog's hearing is over 200 times better than your hearing. He can hear the sound of a child riding a tricycle several houses away. He will respond with his voice. You just need to learn how to teach your canine when it's time to be quiet when they hear the correct signal.
