Heredity gave dogs voices but there are steps to correct most of the sounds that come from dogs. Dogs in Bull Valley that bark at the sound of the house's doorbell or a knock on the door need to be taught your preferred doggy behavior. It is their job to bark when a stranger comes to your Bull Valley door but you should teach them that an "okay" from you means you have the situation under control and your dog guardian can stop barking.
Another concern we hear from dog owners is the barking at objects such as a broom or wheelchairs. These are all things a pet can learn to live with quietly. Running fence lines and barking at your Bull Valley neighbors and their dogs is not acceptable inappropriate dog behavior either. This "distance" barking can be corrected through training sometimes needing a mild zap collar so you can correct your pet from inside the house. This unacceptable dog behavior can be corrected in a short period of time.
Most importantly, you must remember that a dog's hearing is over two hundred times better than your hearing. He can hear the sound of a child riding a tricycle several houses away. He will respond with his voice. You just need to learn how to teach your pet when it's time to be quiet when they hear the proper command.
