How Can You Stop The Noise?

Heredity gave dogs voices but there are ways to control most of the sounds that come from canine pets.  Dogs in Algonquin that bark at the noise of the house's doorbell or a knock on the door need to be taught a greeting ritual.  It is their job to bark when a stranger comes to your Algonquin house but you should train them that an "okay" from you means you have the situation under control and your dog guardian can stop making noise.

Another complaint we hear from pet owners is the barking at objects such as vacuum cleaners or tractors. These are all items a dog can learn to live with quietly. Watching out the window and barking at your Algonquin neighbors and their dogs should not be tolerated inappropriate dog behavior either.  This "distance" barking can be corrected through training sometimes needing a mild zap collar so you can correct your canine from inside the from a distance.  It really doesn't take long for them to learn.

Most importantly, you must remember that a dog's hearing is over two hundred times better than your hearing.  He can hear the sound of a child riding a tricycle several houses away.  He will respond with his voice.  You just need to learn how to teach your dog when it's time to be quiet when they hear the correct signal.
