How Can You Stop The Noise?

Heredity gave dogs voices but there are steps to correct most of the sounds that come from dogs.  Dogs in Guthrie that bark at the noise of the house's doorbell or a knock on the door need to be taught your preferred doggy behavior.  It is their job to bark when a stranger comes to your Guthrie house but you should train them that an OK command from you means everything is fine and your protector can stop barking.

Another complaint we hear from pet owners is the barking at objects such as a broom or rakes. These are all items a canine can learn to live with quietly. Watching out the window and barking at your Guthrie neighbors and their dogs is not acceptable bad dog behavior either.  This "distance" barking can be corrected through training sometimes needing a mild zap collar so you can correct your canine from inside the home.  This unacceptable dog behavior can be corrected in a short period of time.

It's important for you to remember that a dog's hearing is over two hundred times better than your hearing.  He can hear your car coming from over a block away.  He will respond with his voice.  You just need to learn how to teach your pet when it's time to be quiet when they hear the correct signal.
