How Can You Stop The Noise?

Heredity gave dogs voices but there are ways to control most of the sounds that come from man's best friend.  Dogs in Fussville that bark at the sound of the family's doorbell or a knock on the door need to be taught a greeting ritual.  It is their job to bark when a stranger comes to your Fussville door but you should teach them that an OK command from you means you have the situation under control and your dog guardian can stop growling.

Another concern we hear from pet owners is the whining at objects such as a broom or wheelchairs. These are all items a pet can learn to live with quietly. Most importantly, you must remember that a dog's hearing is over 200 times better than your hearing.  He can hear the sound of a child riding a tricycle several houses away.  He will respond with his voice.  You just need to learn how to teach your dog when it's time to be quiet when they hear the proper command.
