How Can You Stop The Noise?

Heredity gave dogs voices but there are procedures to correct most of the sounds that come from man's best friend.  Dogs in Butler that bark at the noise of the family's doorbell or a knock on the door need to be taught a greeting ritual.  It is their job to bark when a stranger comes to your Butler house but you should train them that an "okay" from you means everything is fine and your protector can stop barking.

Another concern we hear from pet owners is the barking at objects such as a shovel or rakes. These are all things a canine can learn to live with quietly. Running the property lines and barking at your Butler neighbors and their dogs should not be tolerated inappropriate dog behavior either.  This "distance" barking can be corrected through training sometimes needing a mild shock collar so you can correct your dog from inside the from a distance.  It really doesn't take long for them to learn.

It's important for you to remember that a dog's hearing is over two hundred times better than your hearing.  He can hear your car coming from over a block away.  He will respond with his voice.  You just need to learn how to teach your canine when it's time to be quiet when they hear the correct signal.
