How Can You Stop The Noise?

Heredity gave dogs voices but there are ways to correct most of the sounds that come from canine pets.  Dogs in East Troy that bark at the sound of the family's doorbell or a knock on the door need to be taught a greeting ritual.  It is their job to bark when a stranger comes to your East Troy house but you should teach them that an OK command from you means everything is fine and your dog guardian can stop making noise.

Another complaint we hear from dog owners is the whining at objects such as vacuum cleaners or tractors. These are all things a canine can learn to live with quietly. Running fence lines and barking at your East Troy neighbors and their dogs should not be tolerated inappropriate dog behavior either.  This "distance" barking can be corrected through training sometimes needing a mild shock collar so you can correct your dog from inside the house.  It really doesn't take long for them to learn.

It's important for you to remember that a dog's hearing is over 200 times better than your hearing.  He can hear a squirrel running up a tree.  He will respond with his voice.  You just need to learn how to teach your dog when it's time to be quiet when they hear the proper command.
